This beautiful piece is perfect for any ocean-lover or mermaid enthusiast. The pendant is made out of sterling silver and features a beautiful mermaid design. It comes in Moonstone, Peridot, Opal, and Aquamarine. The necklace is hung on a 18 inch brass chain.

This necklace was inspired by the Jeju Mermaids of Korea. The Jeju Mermaids were women who, despite the heavy fishing tax placed on the fisherman, found a loophole and began fishing themselves. Since they are women they didn't get the heavy fishing tax. The Jeju Mermaids were fierce and independent women who fought for what they believed in.

Each Gemstone is just as beautiful as the next, and they all represent different aspects of the Jeju Mermaids story. Moonstone represents the mystery and magic of the sea, peridot represents the green fields where the mermaids live, opal represents the fire that burns within them, and aquamarine represents the water that surrounds them.

No matter which color you choose, you'll be wearing a piece of history that is both beautiful and empowering.
